What is true freedom?
Today we analyize true freedom in One Piece as well as the most important fight in One Piece. Why Luffy and Blackbeard are two sides of the same coin and but embody different ideals of freedom. Luffy representing Liberation and Blackbeard representing Anarchy. Luffy’s fight with Blackbeard will be the MOST important fight in the series as the battle for the throne and title of Pirate King AKA: The Freest of the Free. Finally, we discuss what freedom means for both characters and what it means to seek it in the story of One Piece.
